RESCHEDULING OF FIREWORKS CELEBRATIONS
AVON – The Avon Fireworks Committee, Avon Property Owners’ Association, Koru Village, Pyrotecnico, and Dare County have made a joint decision to reschedule the July 4th fireworks show on the Avon Fishing Pier, tentatively to Monday, July 7th at 9:00 p.m.
KILL DEVIL HILLS – Avalon Pier rescheduled for Saturday, 7/5 at dusk.
MANTEO – As a result of the deteriorating weather forecast for Friday, all of the 4th of July events for the Town of Manteo have been rescheduled for Sunday July 6th.
NAGS HEAD – The Town of Nags Head’s Fireworks Spectacular, originally scheduled for Friday, July 4, has been moved to Saturday, July 5 at 9:25 pm. The fireworks will be shot off from Nags Head Pier, as originally planned.
The Fourth of July holiday is coming up fast, and what better way to celebrate our nation’s Independence with fireworks! The Outer Banks has several locations you can pull up a chair and watch the revelry. Come on down to the OBX!
Roanoke Island Festival Park, Manteo, NC 27954
Outdoor Pavilion- at 8 p.m. The Concert Band is comprised of over 40 professional airman-musicians who wow audiences on regular tours throughout the East Coast with a variety of renditions of great orchestral classics. This performance will offer patriotic standards. Pack up the lawn chairs, blankets and picnic and bring family and friends as the nation celebrates July 4th! Fireworks will be provided by the Town of Manteo beginning at 9:30 p.m. Gates open at 6 p.m. Parking will be available at the Park until the lot is full and also in Downtown Manteo. Handicap parking will be available at the Park. The event is free and open to the public.

The Town of Nags Head Fireworks show will begin at 9:25 p.m. on the Nags Head Fishing Pier located at Mile Post 11.5 on S. Virginia Dare Trail in Nags Head.
Avalon Pier, 2111 N. Va. Dare Trail, Kill Devil Hills, NC 27948
The Town of Kill Devil Hills Fireworks show will begin at dusk on the Avalon Fishing Pier located at MP 6 on the Beach Road.

Fireworks on Hatteras Island at the Avon Fishing Pier at 9:00 p.m. Tune to 95.9 FM from 9:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. to hear the live broadcast of the Fireworks and Patriotic Music. Located at 41001 HWY 12, Avon.
Whalehead Club, 1100 Club Rd, Corolla, 27927
The 22nd Annual Festival of Fireworks – July 4th Celebration will take place on the Currituck Heritage Park lawn (where the Whalehead Club is) at dusk. Arrive early and bring the whole family to enjoy all of the fun activities, music and entertainment. Local food vendors will also be on site. Find a place for your blanket or chair and settle in for a fun Currituck Outer Banks evening and the best fireworks show on the Outer Banks! The boat ramp will be closed on this day. This event will be held on the grounds of Currituck Heritage Park located at 1100 Club Road, Corolla, NC. Also note no alcohol is allowed on the park grounds.
