Surfing – Nags Head is widely known for its surfing. The beach that surrounds Jennette’s Pier is a popular year-round surfing spot and is also home to the regular Regional and National ESA Championships.
Golf – Nags head is home to the Nags Head Golf Links, which is a Scottish-style course that has been featured in GolfWeek, Southern Links and Golf Digest. The course is open to the public and is location on the southside near Jockey’s Ridge State Park.
Nightlife – There are over 60 restaurants and bars in Nag Heads, creating a thriving nightlife scene with plenty of local hotspots such as Sam & Omie’s, Mulligans and Kelly’s Lucky 12 Tavern. Many of these spots feature live entertainment with DJ nights and karaoke.
