My Client-First Philosophy…
I grew up in Elizabeth City and vacationed on the Outer Banks in the summers. After graduating from college with a degree in Communications and a concentration in Public Relations and have the qualities and skills that go into being an excellent real estate professional. My integrity, in-depth community and market knowledge, marketing savvy, effective negotiation skills and a high-quality professional network, are the hallmarks of how I work.
I grew up in a real estate family on the Outer Banks and my mom, Debby Garcia, owned a real estate firm in Duck. Summers during college I worked construction which helps during the under contract to closing process when home inspection issues have to be dealt with. I have unmatched local knowledge on real estate and the good fishing spots, surf breaks and all the beach accesses for every community on the OBX. When people ask me “do you know a guy…” the answer is always yes absolutely and more importantly, I get them to show up for the job!
I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Management in 1991. Zak joined Kitty Hawk Land Company in 1994 as a member of the Original Sales Team for The Currituck Club where he quickly became a member of the “Sales Leader and Outstanding Performance Club” of Kitty Hawk Land Company. Zak uses his knowledge of owning a home and investment properties in a resort area to help you make quality real estate decisions. When he is not at work you can find Zak in the ocean on his surfboard or in his boat fishing!
Debby Garcia has joined the Outer Banks Investment Specialists working with her son, Zak and her daughter-in-law, Beth. Debby has been licensed for 30 years and was the owner of Britt Real Estate from 1987 to 2000.
